True Self Counseling

True Self Counseling

utilizes personalized therapy to help you continue to discover the best you! Counseling should support you through objectively and empathically providing perspectives to help bring clarity to your personal values and decisions, as well as enhance your mental and emotional well being. We named our practice True Self Counseling because we so highly value the authenticity and individuality of each unique person and love to see people “self-actualize,” or realize their full potential, becoming their truest self.

Person-Centered

& Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help you through your unique challenges, whatever they may be.  We emphasize the relationship between the client and counselor Рone built upon authenticity, non-judgement, and unconditional positive regard. The CBT framework helps us focus on the interaction and impact of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and changing negative/anxious self-talk to become more productive and self-supportive. Mindfulness is a newer CBT approach, one that develops a purposeful way of remaining present in the moment.

We Realize Counseling

can seem like a scary step – but it could be the best step you can take right now! We strive to provide services that help build the individual and we never approach a client from a judgemental standpoint. Counseling should be something to build your awareness and confidence, and it can be beneficial for people in all walks of life. Some of our specialty areas include anxiety, depression management, trauma, identity development, difficult transitions/adjustments, and relationships between adolescents & their parents.
