True Self Counseling

We named our practice True Self Counseling because we so highly value the authenticity and individuality of each unique person and love to see people “self-actualize,” or realize their full potential, becoming their truest self. Therapeutic Approach

We strive to foster relationships based on authenticity, nonjudgement, and unconditional positive regard. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [CBT] is used to help clients identify and challenge their negative or anxious self-talk to be more productive and self-supportive. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT] is used to help each client identify their unique set of core values, establish action steps in alignment with those values, and increase mindfulness: being fully engaged in the present moment with curiosity and openness. We work with all types of people, through all sorts of challenges; no matter what you’re facing, personalized therapy can help.
